Proud to be Jason’s Consultant Sommelier, assisting with functions, training and collaborating with winemakers to produce the Bree Street Red and Green Point White house wines. The relationship with Jason started when I was working at &Union on Bree street, where he was a regular customer, and good friend of owner Rui Estevez. When Rui came to selling the rebranded bar, WeinHaus & BierGarten, Jason and Brigitte took over as co-owners. Having a chef to play with started my wine brain ticking, and here was where the exclusive wine expressions came into existence‚Ķ and The Wine Thief started his journey.
